The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NC DOT) has selected Greenville-based JKF ARCHITECTURE for a long-range planning study for the NC DOT property on Poole Road in Raleigh. This study will investigate the feasibility of moving the State DMV Headquarters from the New Bern Avenue location to the currently undeveloped Poole Road location. Also included in the study will be the possible relocation of other large NC DOT units that are currently in leased offices and/or aging facilities in the Raleigh area. Maximizing customer service will be a top priority. This is JKF ARCHITECTURE’S second large-scale project in the Triangle.
