Pitt County Law Enforcement Center

Project Description

JKF ARCHITECTURE was selected by the local government to deliver the new Pitt County Law Enforcement Center in Greenville, North Carolina. The Law Enforcement Center will serve as the primary operating hub for the Pitt County Sheriff’s Office. The proposed facility is approximately 35,000 SF and includes space for multiple divisions within the Sheriff’s Department, as well as ample space for fleet management. The construction of this building represents a major step forward for local operations, with the efficient centralization of law enforcement services that previously were spread across the county.

The building includes a central lobby for visitors, with secure entrances into most areas of the facility. Each Division of the Sheriff’s Office has its own area equipped with offices, bathrooms, meeting space, and armory (where applicable). The building also has a large flexible meeting space, which can host a variety of large-scale function, including serving as a base of operations during emergencies.
