Project Description

Named in honor of former College President Charles Russell, this 54,000 SF, two-story building included General Purpose Classrooms, Labs, and Faculty Offices. Construction was completed on schedule. While the estimated cost was $11.8 million, the project bid for $7.4 million.

The Russell Building satisfies the State’s requirements for energy and resource savings. JKF ARCHITECTURE earned Merit Award Recognition from the NC State Construction Office for its superior professional service on this project and a Design Award from the AIA North Carolina Eastern Section.
